The best pie pub in London?

Having personally experienced the fantastic pie offerings at The Crown Pub in Soho (situated on Brewer Street), I believe that it will be tough to find another place in London that’s as good. If anyone reading this can offer up a competitor, I’d be delighted to hear it.

The reason I think The Crown puts up such a good fight for the unofficial title of ‘Best Pie Pub in London’ is that they are a speciality establishment. Everything you could ever want from a pie is there – soft, buttery pastry, rich, meaty gravy, plenty of filling and some cheesy mash and vibrant green veg on the side; – and there’s even lots of veggie options. Some of the pies even had turrets!

With reasonable prices and a cosy, down-to-earth pub atmosphere (despite being right in the middle of trendy Soho), The Crown Pub is a must-visit for any pie fanciers in the area.
